Microsoft is all set to retire its oldest web browser- Internet Explorer created more than 25 years ago. The respective browser will no longer receive any support services from the company and close all its corresponding operations on 15 June 2022. Over the years, the competitor web browsers like Google’s Chrome, Mozilla’s Firefox, or Apple’s Safari have marked their presence on the audience’s digital screens.
“We are announcing that the future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge. Not only is Microsoft Edge a faster, more secure, and more modern browsing experience than Internet Explorer, but it is also able to address a key concern: compatibility for older, legacy websites and applications,” Microsoft stated.
